Prior to starting your new temporary assignment you will receive a copy of your registration documents. There are several sections you will need to sign and return to us along with evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK. If you have been asked to provide copies of qualifications and certificates for your temporary assignment, these should be returned with the registration documents. If you are registering as a PAYE worker or have your own limited company you will receive an expanded registration pack.
You will receive all your paperwork by e-mail, which will confirm which documents you will need to return and by what date.
We need to confirm all temporary workers' eligibility to work. You should provide us with a copy of your passport or national identity card (for EU countries), UK residence document (if requested) along with proof of your national insurance number (NI card, P45, P60 or payslip). If you are in the UK on a visa, have been granted political asylum or have indefinite leave to remain, we will require the supporting documentation to confirm your eligibility to work status.
We process a weekly payment run with payments reaching workers each Friday. Pay is one week in arrears and can only be made on receipt of an approved timesheet before our 12pm Wednesday deadline.
We operate an online timesheet system. When you start an assignment with us, you will be sent a unique link to our online timesheet system together with instructions on how to create and submit a timesheet. Once you have completed your timesheet online, a copy will either be sent to our client for approval, or will be available for you to print and hand to them.
We require all timesheets to be approved by our clients by 12pm on a Wednesday. You should allow the person approving your timesheet adequate time to check and approve it prior to the deadline, so we would suggest submitting your timesheet on a Monday morning at the latest.
Whilst we aim to ensure that all our temporary workers are paid each week, there are sometimes unavoidable circumstances which may prevent payment. Typical reasons for why you may not have been paid include:
